Midtown Jiu-Jitsu is a fantastic place for both training and personal growth. Coach Malachy, Coach Steph, and the entire team are dedicated, knowledgeable, supportive and truly passionate about what they do. The classes are well-structured with discipline and consistency, creating a great learning environment.

They offer three kids’ classes Monday to Friday for different age groups, making it a perfect afterschool activity. My children started three months ago, and they enjoy taking classes.
I’ve already seen such a positive impact, not just in their Jiu-Jitsu skills, but also in their confidence, discipline, kindness, and empathy.

I highly recommend Midtown Jiu-Jitsu!!

We’d looked at several gyms for our daughter and this one was exactly what we were looking for. Coach Malachy and Coach Jess are firm yet kind, engaging and skillful. Their expectations are clear and consistent and perfectly aligned with our the goals of fostering self-confidence, discipline, empathy, and self-awareness we have for your children. I would recommend BJJ to anyone, my husband is even trying to find the time to sign up for a class!

As an educator myself, I’m constantly in awe of how incredible Coach Malachy and Coach Steph are with these kids!

The coaches at Midtown Jiu Jitsu create a caring connection with each student while upholding firm and safe boundaries and giving clear and honest direction. Thus providing the perfect environment for growth, learning, trust and resilience. My children are thriving and I couldn’t be more satisfied with our experience.

Through my children’s new found love of the sport, I too have started attending classes at the gym which has been amazing! The toughest and sweatiest workout ever with awesome people. We’re all hooked!

100000% recommend for kids and adults! Coach Malachy and his staff are highly skilled and dedicated. Since my son started here, I've seen remarkable improvements in his behavior. Not only has his physical strength increased, but his mental resilience has also grown significantly.

I've also started taking classes here, participating in both the Fundamentals and Women's classes. It's an excellent way to push yourself, challenge your limits, and develop new skills.

My boys have been attending mid town BJJ for their youth class for a few weeks now. Coach Malachy is an excellent teacher as well as a mentor. He runs a strict class which is excellent for the age group class my children attend. All the instructors are helpful,
patient and kind. My kids have participated in a lot of youth sports but this experience has been one of the best.
